SUPERFUND CLEANUP OF THE LONGHORN ARMY AMMUNITION PLANT
In 2010, the EPA awarded a technical assistance grant (TAG) to Caddo Lake Institute to obtain the services of a technical advisor to analyze technical reports pertaining to cleanup of contamination at the LHAAP. The work of the technical advisor will be available online to assist members of the local community and others in understanding how the cleanup is proceeding and in participating in decisions about the cleanup.
A special website was established by the Caddo Lake Institute (CLI) to make information available to community members regarding reclamation and restoration issues at the former site of the Longhorn Army Ammunition Plant (LHAAP) in Karnack, Texas.
