INTERAGENCY GIANT SALVINIA CONTROL TEAM
Since 2009, CLI has been a member of the IGSCT, a partnership of federal, state and local government agencies, universities in Texas and Louisiana, and others for the exchange of information about controls for giant salvinia. CLI hosted the annual meetings of the IGSCT in 2009, 2012 and most recently in 2018. The partnership has resulted in greater understanding of the options for biological controls, greater cooperation among partners for control of giant salvinia and the development of documents such as the Guide to Mass Rearing the Salvinia Weevil for Biological Control of Giant Salvinia.
